He Jianzhong said that CIN will adhere to building the party to strengthen the Institute and four orientations, providing four services, strengthening academic leadership, science popularization and think-tank construction. CIN will continuously promote the construction of first-class Institute with Chinese characteristics by sticking to the working ideas of adhering to the leadership of party building, the demand orientation, the three-wheel drive, the service orientation, and the integrated development. We hope that the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Transport will give strong support and guidance in the activities of China Maritime Week, China Navigation Academic Conference, and International Association of Institutes of Navigation World Congress next year.
Director Xu Wenqiang highly appreciated the achievements of the CIN in promoting the development of maritime science and technology, and express that the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Transport in China will support the development of academic activities such as China Maritime Week and the World Congress of the International Association of Institutes of Navigation (IAIN), and hoped that the Institute will be able to steer the scientific and academic activities towards digital shipping and intelligent shipping, and that the standard-setting work will be directed towards the internationalization of the development.
